The unique island of Noirmoutier is beautiful and may be visited via the bridge, boat or the famous causeway (The Gois). There is a chateau to visit and the beaches at the top of the island are beautiful. Buy the famous salt to cook with at home.

There are several good golf courses in the area, some of which offer special packages if you visit 3 or more courses, both Planete Sauvage (safari park) and Puy du Fou (theme park) offer excellent days out for all the family.
